Individual Therapy

How we choose to face the challenges life throws at us impacts the way in which we think, feel and cope with subsequent trials and tribulations. The confidence to implement change is difficult to build but imperative to gaining strength through adversity. 

There are many different facets to therapy, including: identifying the motivating factor for seeking therapy, uncovering how an individual developed their sense of self/identity, discussing mood-related symptoms that are often distressing and can lead to poor functioning, and providing coping skills to improve quality of life. The therapeutic relationship is built to help you gain a better understanding of your life, make progress towards your objectives, decrease distressing symptoms and strengthen your overall sense of self.
